I wonder that too.

"In each century since the beginning of the world, many wonderful things have been discovered. In the last century, more amazing things were found out than any in century before. In this new century hundreds of things still more astounding will be brought to light. At first people refuse to believe that a strange new thing can be done, then they begin to hope it can't be done, then they see it can be done - then it's done and all the world wonders why it was not done centuries ago."

Thanks for not making the pictures shaking!

I was having a lazy Monday at office. After that massive lunch with some lawyers, looking back on how we just had a meeting on defense case, I decided to give myself the rest of afternoon off. And after checking some news feed on Facebook, I could see our topics of Smakl memories still become a hot list on top of everything else. Then, doing some nosy blogrolling, I just had this twitching urge to post these kitties pictures. Here we go! Just warming up my skills. And that wraps up my 'boredom illness' for you. Loves, Shey :)

Since the day started my sandwich works, I almost forgot how to laugh. A bunch of files have the most priority of intriguing stuffs. Tired, yes to say. By the way, she's not our real Opah, Opah Angkat exactly. There, I met this little sweetheart, Ahmad. He had morphed into a multi-armed sea which determined to keep touching me continually. An arm linked through mine, a hand on my shoulder, fingers on back. He was too charming to say for a first time meet up. I scanned the house, not for an escape routes but I wanted to recall any memories in there. Y...

The Story of Pak Long Bakar

Our Pak Long Bakar is a true hero of Kampung Chepor, Lenggong, Perak. He is invariably funny and outrageous, and at the same time always lovable and kind. He is not our real uncle, but a very distant cousin of my paternal grandmother. :) Pak Long Bakar has been married to Mak Long Zah for almost 50 years with 4 sons and 4 daughters around. Once they started bed-sharing, they always sleep facing each other. Err, that is what my Mama said. I wot that but too well, I'm still in my childishness affair. Just don't deliver any more, mama. *phew So last week, we went to his house for a visit since the last meeting was long ago. We could see there were construction works as an addition to that existing house. Pak Long Bakar was standing between the bricks, smeared by mixture of sweat and cement, he was seen too old for that. "Kesian Pak Long kan Ma?" "Kesian kenapa? Dia kaya tu. Memotong (menoreh getah) sehari dapat dekat beratus ringgit. Tu siap boleh tambah rumah. Kita...
