Assalamualaikum :) Well, I can't believe that a little bit of ignorance has made this space abandoned, forlorn and forsaken. And, very little of it has changed in the world of a law student in the past two months. Our mock trial successfully had been performed in front of hundreds people. Through the days, we enjoyed tight happiness working with friends, not to forget those dramas of bullfighting and backbiting (which happened, matured and evolved since centuries ago) and I am not saying that our mock trial was the best mock trial performed by the law students. But, well, we had given the best to bring it on. *clapping sound I just noticed that Raya has left us for like what? Half-month? And I didn't write anything for that long? I am sorry. So people, Salam 'belated' Aidilfitri. For any harsh words that may have hurt you, for any promises that cannot be fulfilled, for any grammatical errors that annoyed you to read and for any reasons that you love to hate, I am asking...

MIA

My last post was a month ago. I have my own reasons. Yes. I'll be slowly updating when I'm in a writing mood at the moment then you have to watch this space, aite? :) Happy Fasting to all my Muslim friends.

Cause baby you're a firework!

Assalamualaikum :) Last week there was this Flora Fest at Putrajaya for one week where there were fireworks display with cultural show. So, Star Wars! Here I come! I was buzzing round the park looking for the best port to capture the fireworks which apparently there was thousand people milling for the same reason, like seriously seriously. Meanwhile, fireworks filled the sky with blues and golds, shell blasts and the promised ring explosions. All around me, kids were telling their friends, 'That is my favorite!', 'The big one is coming out!'. As a whole, finding for 100 shots of fireworks, various colors and flowers brought out my pleasures and enjoyments to see them zoomed in very close. Sorry, the pictures were edited to be in small size due to broadband connection. :)

You can have it all

I know my last post was a month ago and I’m endeavoring to write so many things in my mind, yet been hectic with works, in office and home. Speaking about spoon-feeding myself, it’s way too remote to accomplish. Supposedly, I set everything down and walk off for a movie once a week. *sigh But, it’s something unworkable these days. Uh, well here is something I am going to disgorge. I went to two weddings last week and at the end of this month, will be a photographer for my sister’s friend’s wedding. Those remarkable things attending this somewhat ceremony are the happiness on everyone’s face, more than ever the bride and groom; people eat free lunch at the same time as watching the couple sprinkled by both parents and there are gifts for people as well. Seeing that a wedding costs thousand bucks to treat everyone who comes to celebrate the married pair, I wonder how things are going with divorce. A wedding could take many years to plan. I have a friend, who’s at my age, started putt...

I wonder that too.

"In each century since the beginning of the world, many wonderful things have been discovered. In the last century, more amazing things were found out than any in century before. In this new century hundreds of things still more astounding will be brought to light. At first people refuse to believe that a strange new thing can be done, then they begin to hope it can't be done, then they see it can be done - then it's done and all the world wonders why it was not done centuries ago."

Thanks for not making the pictures shaking!

I was having a lazy Monday at office. After that massive lunch with some lawyers, looking back on how we just had a meeting on defense case, I decided to give myself the rest of afternoon off. And after checking some news feed on Facebook, I could see our topics of Smakl memories still become a hot list on top of everything else. Then, doing some nosy blogrolling, I just had this twitching urge to post these kitties pictures. Here we go! Just warming up my skills. And that wraps up my 'boredom illness' for you. Loves, Shey :)

There's always once, upon, a, time

Since the day started my sandwich works, I almost forgot how to laugh. A bunch of files have the most priority of intriguing stuffs. Tired, yes to say. A holiday at Perak seemed to be 'never without drama'. The first time I went here was when I got wind of my other siblings existence and then I knew a girl should be forever Daddy's daughter so don't kick the ball. Um, never been a brat. So I was flying blind when the door opened and I was enveloped by a continent of woman. By the time I realized my nose was pressed at her chest. I call her Opah. She's nice. Really. By the way, she's not our real Opah, Opah Angkat exactly. There, I met this little sweetheart, Ahmad. He had morphed into a multi-armed sea which determined to keep touching me continually. An arm linked through mine, a hand on my shoulder, fingers on back. He was too charming to say for a first time meet up. I scanned the house, not for an escape routes but I wanted to recall any memories in there. Y...

The Story of Pak Long Bakar

Our Pak Long Bakar is a true hero of Kampung Chepor, Lenggong, Perak. He is invariably funny and outrageous, and at the same time always lovable and kind. He is not our real uncle, but a very distant cousin of my paternal grandmother. :) Pak Long Bakar has been married to Mak Long Zah for almost 50 years with 4 sons and 4 daughters around. Once they started bed-sharing, they always sleep facing each other. Err, that is what my Mama said. I wot that but too well, I'm still in my childishness affair. Just don't deliver any more, mama. *phew So last week, we went to his house for a visit since the last meeting was long ago. We could see there were construction works as an addition to that existing house. Pak Long Bakar was standing between the bricks, smeared by mixture of sweat and cement, he was seen too old for that. "Kesian Pak Long kan Ma?" "Kesian kenapa? Dia kaya tu. Memotong (menoreh getah) sehari dapat dekat beratus ringgit. Tu siap boleh tambah rumah. Kita...

Aku benci!

Assalamualaikum. So long as my mind is full of disagreeable thoughts about my dislikes and sour opinions of people and my determination not to be pleased by or interested in anything. Yes! I know! Too much complications in self! My yellow skin is going to be bad tan, fired, sickly and bored. Circumstances, however, are very kind to me, though I am not at all aware of them. They began to push me about for my own good. When my mind gradually filled myself with books, house crowded with happiness, cute kids to visit, welcoming short holidays and the rest to be spent with working. Okay, let's return to this, 'Hello Sheriel! I am Exam Fever. However my assistant, Good Mood didn't come today as she's going to meet her boyfriend.' Argh! There's no room left for disagreeable thoughts which affected my liver and digestion which makes me yellow and tired. Yeah, still got some time for babbling. Crap! Selamat Ber-Exam la semua! Semoga berjaya hendaknya. Amin.

Today I shall post a 'miserable' excuse for a new entry on blog and get away with it. Yes, it's my blog. Currently reading 'Alexander adalah Zulkarnain'. Throughout 175 pages I've read, Wisnu really determined in proving the great Alexander is Muslim and a descendant of King Philips from Macedonia. The writer reserved the rights of obtaining kudos and write-up for any books reviewer since the grounds are veritable peeled and genuine from Al-Quran, hadith and opinions from great scholars. So I recommend you to buy, read and judge by yourself. Halfway through reading this, I can't say I believe the writer up to the hilt because myself have no chance splitting the sources either they are absolutely true. Maybe, someday? :) Last week has been aright excitement with family. We went to Taman Pertanian Cahaya Seri Alam (I don't really remember the name cause it's freaky long). We called ourselves this sort of adrenaline junkies (though not junkie enough),...

Surfing the Diary Sheets

I can clearly see now that I had been badly mistaken in my hope that a week of 'still knowing each other' is just something normal. But sadly say, it's not. I don't say I am in love with him. I mean, not yet. Yes. Like. Sort of. That feeling - as impossible as it seemed. How can I feel so strongly about him in such a short amount of time? I don't have the answer. 'Granted, if I met him earlier, I mean a year before, we probably are seeing each other now. Err! This is insane! How can after a week, I'd be so ready to spend the rest of my life with him? Hah?' Monologue. Yes, I've tried to analyze the situation, to see if I am in the throes of infatuation. He is smart, kind and funny. He is warm to his friends and family, yet no tendency to flirt with just about everyone. Okay? How can you be so sure, Sheriel Aizan? He is open-minded to new things, new ideas, different view-points. While he had his own opinions, he didn't dismiss those of others. Wha...

Assalamualaikum. :) Enthusiasm asks me to revel everyone about cats! So, here we go! I have this mommy cat whom we call her, Bubu. I actually don't know what breed she is cause her flower tail looks like she's might be a Persian so as her kemek face. However, her kemek face no longer remains after she gave birth for two times. We brought her to vet once (only once cause it's too expensive), checked for fleas but suddenly the doctor reported us for worms in her stomach. So, I guess that has caused her to get thin day after day. She's still consuming such pills and vitamins. *sigh So, last three weeks Mama called me and excitedly telling me that Bubu had gave birth for four kittens IN MY OVEN! Yes peeps, it is oven. My oven is actually under the stove which they combined together as in one box. So, my prediction is, the oven was actually opened by I don't know who and Bubu was really sick and couldn't think of any other places to deliver. Haish! Macam-macam. Thoug...

Hello Mellow!

Whitey white.

Assalamualaikum semua :) The true lenses are heart corporates with brain. Both must be innocent. I have wondered why 'White' always adored as pure. Detergent commercials night and day pointing out the new white school uniform as clean, 'Wah, seperti baju baru! Gunalah Daia!' Whatever. For myself, that is not true. How do you know that new plus white equals to clean. Kau tipu tipu tipu aku lagi. You bought it involuntarily realizing that has been used by someone else. Who knows? It might has fallen in the stool. Yark! You just then fessed it up as clean. The resemblance associates with life. Pretty doesn't mean to be kind. White skin is not impossible to lie. Looks can be deceiving. Back to the top, use your 'lenses' to capture all the 'features'. It may be blurry so wipe them!

The Poet

At the intersection you can hear the clock and people's footsteps, At the intersection, sometimes, a car is smashed up, only to turn up again. The moon on the clock face, the hands keep turning........ I love spiritual stuff, the cluster of beads - healing all the sorrows while glorifying HIM. Somehow I found myself certain that happiness is a snare and a delusion. Let's see. Each birth was celebrated with joy, cakes and ale. So what happen when somebody dies? Yeah, the cries take too age-long to stop. Why don't you save the happiness a bit so that you won't suffer for mourning? Hem?

Disney really pulled my leg during my childhood. Not a single but both. I dreamed to be in a castle with long-princess-likely-dress together fit the floor-length veil on my head. A bouquet of wildflowers hung casually in my hand. Just so you know, this is not lame cause I believe all girls wish the same. Heh! Times treat me to mature parallel with how old my age. If only castle story still takes into my head, I will not study anymore. Because someday, I'll be a fresh attorney with a hectic schedule and no time for looking for a prince-charming! WOOT!
